For Ponderosa Campground: Two nights in a back in site for our 23 foot class B. Spaces are tight. Staff are super helpful. Because no one was answering the phone for the trolly tour, he jumped in his truck and drove me over and waited to confirm I had gotten a reservation. That’s real service! Nice friendly people! Lots of grass and trees. All is clean, bathrooms and showers are on the older side.

For Ponderosa Campground: So—We are giving this park 2 stars and those are only for the front office staff who are friendly and helpful. The park itself was OVERLY crowded, they jam-pack rigs into too small of a site which leaves very little room for your tow or vehicles on the site or even around the site. It was a hodge-podge mess w/rigs & vehicles everywhere. The roads were too small to get big rigs safely into sights and too small to jocky for space to leave when others were leaving. There was damage to our rig trying to get in a site we shouldve never been in. There is a pull thru area for larger rigs but they must have been full because we got a back in on the other-side. There is a tiny dog park by the teepees but basically unimpressive. This park sits on a curved road—good luck getting out when the road is busy. This park could be better if redesigned with few sites. It is mostly for rigs 35’ or less on the back-in side. We wont recommend or ever stay again unfortunately.

For Ponderosa Campground: Had a really good stay... has a variety of sites, larger pull through a are closer together than the back on site... great location, super friendly folks, all the usual amenities... each site is supposed to have sewer, but we couldn’t find ours under all the leaves... didn’t matter much to us since we do not have a gravity drain.... loved the location and the town, thanks for a great stay... it’s about an hour from the East Gate of Yellowstone and 1.5hrs from NE gate...

Lynne

For Ponderosa Campground: Friendliest check in staff ever. Gave lots of info about the town and we went to the Cody Cattle Club dinner show: most fun we have had since COVID-19 arrived. Park is older and spaces someone tight but no problem for two nights. Laundry was helpful too. Happy to recommend.

For Ponderosa Campground: Good location and staff is very nice. Spots are EXTREMELY tight and the sewage hookup was right next to our picnic table. Kinda gross. We moved it further away but didn't really spend much time outside. The bathrooms in the back are nice and clean and look to be brand new. Wifi was hit or miss. Park was fine for an overnight.

Eva

For Ponderosa Campground: Astonished how this place can get such good reviews. Tiny spaces, old bathrooms with no running water and watered down soap. In the expensive side as well. Save your money and go somewhere else - I wish we had gone to the KOA.
