For Brooks Lake Campground: Small campground off the beaten path. Access in is on a well maintained gravel road. The campground is by Brooks Lake. There are some good views of the lake and the Pinnacles and other ridges in the area. The campsites are gravel. A few are big enough for rig maybe 30 ft or so. There's picnic table, fire ring. There are 2 short spurs with some sites but these would be tricky with a trailer as there is limited room to navigate or turn around. Bear country but didn't see any bears. It was very windy in the late afternoon; this might be typical for the mountains. Vault toilet was not only clean but also had nice decoration with dried flowers and some art -- a very nice touch. It would have been a very quiet peaceful campground except for the jerk who ran an open-frame generator for 2 hours in the evening -- so inconsiderate. There are some good hiking trails in the area.

For Brooks Lake Campground: Beautiful, small national forest campground near a nice mountain lake. Stayed 4 nights in late June 2017. Overnight lows in the 30s-40s. Daily highs in the 70s. This is bear country and the campground is restricted to hard side RVs only. No tents or pop ups allowed. Pit toilets were well kept. No potable water was available during our stay.

Mosquitoes are abundant but tolerable with bug spray. Grizzly bears frequent the area so plan on having bear spray available and ready to use if hiking or fishing. Beautiful area, great trails and excellent placement near Grand Teton NP.
