For Flagg Ranch Resort: 2 Stars due to location only. Expensive for what is offered. Laundry facilities had someones clothes in them and the place was a bit dirty. Camp folks made my wife walk 100 yards to another bathroom because they were cleaning. At the other bathroom the mens room was closed due to water issues. Nasty toilets in both. Showers were nice. The dirt and dust covered us while we were there and the campfire smoke permeated our RV. The electrical box panel literally fell off when we went to hook up. Would have preferred a Walmart parking lot over this place.

For Flagg Ranch Resort: I’m am giving a one star because the first thing is when you call for reservations you are talking to a person who is in buffalo ny not the actual people who are at the campground. They put me in a sight that was half the size of my camper, they finally switched me to a sight that would work. It is all gravel and big potholes everywhere dust and mud. Mosquitos everywhere. I used my grill went into my camper ate my dinner and the scurety told me they didn’t want me to leave the grill unattended at all even when it was cooling off had to be put away. The sewer hookup is to high out of the ground and very hard to connect to. The price was way too much 500 a week and you don’t get anything. None of the workers have any knowledge of what to do in the area, they don’t trim any of the threes low tree limbs sorry I think the place is a dump!

For Flagg Ranch Resort: We had a devil of a time getting reservations for a hook-up site at this popular place until there was a cancelation. Reserve early! The restrooms were very clean and the woodsy campsite was pleasant. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. WiFi, gasoline, and meals available at the nearby lodge and store. Like most RV parks in the vicinity, this one isn’t cheap (about $60/night with senior discount) but at least you get electricity, water and the amenities. It is not far to Jackson Lake in Teton NP, but the drive north into the heart of Yellowstone is pretty lengthy and frankly boring—trees, trees, trees! About an hour to Old Faithful and 2 hours to Lamar Valley.

For Flagg Ranch Resort: Stayed 7 nights May28-June4, 2019 in our 23 ft TT and enjoyed every minute. Would stay again. Still pot holes in CG roads as previous posts state but really not that bad. Sites fairly level, bathrooms/showers very clean. Laundry facility connected to CG check in cabin could use some sprucing up. Hiking and biking close by at both Yellowstone and Teton NPs. Quiet even though CG full. Staff friendly and helpful.

For Flagg Ranch Resort: Fresh chocolate chip cookies (the size of a pancake), handed out daily for free. Enough said.
Some may complain about campgrounds near the park but why would you come here to sit in a lawn chair at your site. None of the campgrounds in or near YS are "pretty" but this one has full hookup, pull through, etc. quick access to the Tetons but to head north into the park, it was an hour drive in each day just to get to where the lower loop begins. Then an hour or more to drive back out. Fishing bridge will put you closer to the attractions but it's one ugly, tight campground.

John

For Flagg Ranch Resort: Location is ideal for someone visiting both Yellowstone and Grand Teton NPs.

We stayed two nights, visiting the Tetons. Unpaved, relatively level pads, with lots of trees (pine).

Giving two stars due to construction on site, blocking a clean exit. Luckily, we were able to pull through the recently vacated site across from us. And the dust. Our dogs got so dusty. So our motorhome was dusty.

Staff at visitor center (across the road from the campground) that helped us consolidate reservations were amazingly friendly and helpful. Shout out to Norma!

If we were to visit the two parks again, we might consider this location, as it is between the two, and has a picnic table and fire ring, plus pull through sites (not available at Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone.)

But most likely, we would opt for campgrounds in each of the parks.

Would give three, maybe four stars if it weren't for the dust and construction.

Did I mention the dust?

For Flagg Ranch Resort: I have stayed at this campground twice. The location is ideal. It is located between the Tetons and Yellowstone---actually about a mile from the south entrance of Yellowstone. We had Basin walking right through the campground. The sites were large with full hook up--only 20amp but you dont need air-conditioning at this elevation. Planning another trip in 2012. I will definitely be staying a Flagg Ranch.
