Janine

For Yellow Pine Campground: A nice little campground. We are here in early June and the sites look like they haven’t been used much this season. Road is pretty bumpy (washboard) but take it slow. Lots of smaller dead trees and looking at the number of stumps, many trees gone in the past decade or so. Most of the sites are pull through and have a level middle. Spaced reasonably far apart but you will see the other campers. Several water spigots in the campground but they were currently off. Don’t know if they are turned on later. Looks like they have been upgrading the bathrooms. The views are low hills. $10 fee or $5 with senior pass. Well worth it. We would come here again. I know, I only gave 3 stars but it is just an average campground, thus the rating.

For Yellow Pine Campground: We love the campground and location, but the campsites need maintenance. We camped here in mid September so maybe because end of season. We would like to stay here again as we pass through here every summer.

@RevealingWorld

For Yellow Pine Campground: Perfectly stated in previous review - simple. It's a very simple campground surrounded by forest and trails. It makes for a good stop not far from the highway. Most of the growth has been clear cut from campground, which means the sites are pretty open with little privacy.

M

For Yellow Pine Campground: The campground was simple and nice. We were lucky enough to get a site on the edge of the campground a little separate from the other sites even though we arrived late on a Saturday afternoon. The best part is the access to trails. We enjoyed a short in and out hike/bike ride the evening we arrived and a longer loop the next day. While out on our evening hike we saw moose and coyote. We will definitely return!
