For Gold Rush RV Park: Sardines on gravel. Very tight unlevel sites. Poor internet. Clean park in town with trees along the perimeter behind the back in sites. Three stars for a good clean laundry.

For Gold Rush RV Park: We were looking for a full service campground after boondocking for two weeks that could be convenient to explore Dawson City. We're self-contained in our 8 m (25 foot) RV and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on weeknights in early September. The CG was nearly full each night. This is a meticulously clean, nice urban campground situated downtown Dawson City.. Sites are lined up fairly close in a dirt parking lot with gravel pads . There's a mix of primitive, 15 amp electric/water ($47 cdn), 30-amp electric water and electric/water/septic sites. Most are back-in, some are pull-through. Some sites need leveling. Sites are in full sun with trees on the perimeter providing shade early morning or late day. There're restrooms with coin-op showers ($2 for 6 min). There's laundry with good working machines. There's a dump station with rinse water and potable water is available to fill your RV. There's good ATT and Verizon cell coverage while roaming on Bell. There's CG wifi which we did not use. The owners are friendly and attentive. The DC Visitor Center provides much information on things to do in town. The Dempster Highway Visitor Center provides updates and info on the Dempster Highway.

For Gold Rush RV Park: This is one of those North Country gravel parking lots, but it's clean, well kept, and has a friendly and helpful staff. That's good for three stars. The fourth star is because it's within easy walking distance to everything. For that reason, it's the one to choose, We stayed in a 40 ft. class A in July, 2019.

For Gold Rush RV Park: If you pay for full hook ups you get 30AMP electricity. Everything else is 15 AMP which will not run your AC. THis camp has the most restrictive policy on WiFi I have ever encountered with a max of 100MB or 4 hours which ever comes first. After that you have to get another coupon on a per stay basis or buy time from their provider. Pay extra for showers. Cannot run Generator to cool down RV.
