For Snag Junction Campground: Has at least one site that is disabled compliant. Small campground with lots of trees, and bear proof trash receptacles. Generous sized picnic tables. Lakefront sites available. A few sites can accomodate larger size rigs. Firewood provided at each site!

For Snag Junction Campground: Prior to this experience, we’ve been very impressed by the 5-6 BC provincial parks/Yukon Gov campgrounds that we’ve been to. However, this one was less impressive. Not bad, but pretty unremarkable. We had lower expectations going in, so we weren’t upset, just didn’t come away with the ‘we need to make a point to return’ mentality. We stayed here based on location (right off Alaska Highway, closest YGC to the Alaska border). Small, single-loop campground. Lots of trees. Most sites are fairly small (ie couldn’t accommodate larger rigs, 40+ feet). I think there’s water access, but we didn’t use it/check it out to verify. $20 CAD in-person / $18 CAD via online permit. Suitable for an overnight, or maybe even a weekend, but go elsewhere for anything longer.
