For Willow Beach RV & Campground - Lake Mead National Rec Area: The campground itself is very nice- paved level pads, clean and well maintained. The problem is the road from the highway to the campground. It is about 4 miles of rutted, washed out pavement. I wasn’t sure our trailer would be in one piece when we got to the end. If you don’t have a boat or a kayak there is really not much to do here. There is no beach, no restaurant, no cell service, and the park will provide WiFi for one device. The office/store is open very limited hours during the day. We stayed here so we could visit Hoover Dam. If I were to do it over I would stay at Boulder Beach. It is much closer to the dam and to Boulder City.

For Willow Beach RV & Campground - Lake Mead National Rec Area: Outstanding!! This is an AMAZING place to camp and has full hookups! The sites are level concrete slabs. The scenery is just gorgeous. Would have loved to stay another day but it was just a stop over for us. About 25 minutes to the Hoover Dam. Staff were extremely friendly too! Highly recommend!

BigMo

For Willow Beach RV & Campground - Lake Mead National Rec Area: This was quite the bargain considering we used our National Parks Pass. This park is better than many commercial RV resorts we have stayed at. All the sites have a full concrete pad with a concrete pad for your TOAD. All sites have an awesome table and fire ring (which we used). The WiFi coverage and performance is outstanding. The bath-houses are great and there is a small laundry available on site. Be prepared for a steep descent on a small, bump, washed out road. We brought in a 32ft class A with a TOAD

RVtherenow

For Willow Beach RV & Campground - Lake Mead National Rec Area: Nice, clean, quiet campsite. During the week seemed to be less busy and more quiet, but filled up pretty quick for the weekend. There are tent sites available as well as full hookup RV spots (water, electricity, sewage). The upper level (A&B) are closer to the entrance, facilities (bathrooms, showers, laundry), and tent sites. The spots are also more spaced out. The lower level (C&D) are closer to the views of the river and although the spots are still spaced apart, it seemed a bit more crowded. There are picnic tables and a fire pit at each spot. Remember, you are in a desert so there is little shade. There is a fish hatchery nearby that you can tour for free and there is a store at the marina for very basic things you may need. The restaurant at the marina is only open certain days of the year. There is a fuel pump near the marina too, but suggest you only fill up if it is an emergency because it is quite expensive. We had no cell service, but there is free WiFi available to one device. Overall, bring your fire wood and fishing poles and be prepared to have a great time.
