Patti Lewis

For Kearney RV Park & Campground: Stopped for overnight in our 5th Wheel, large cement pads, were able to stay hooked to truck since only staying overnight. Close access to Rt 80. Nicely taken care of small campground. Spaces adequate for 38 ft fithwheel. Well manicured lawn , playground for kids. Dog run. Small pond. Camp personnel were friendly and cordial. WiFi, laundry room , bathhouse available . We’re able to access some local TV channels with antenna. Unsure as to the negative reviews I read, found them all to be mainly false.

Susan

For Kearney RV Park & Campground: Nice quiet park some noise from I-80 but not bad. Easy access from I-80. Needed to extend our stay due to impending snow storm in April no less. Very nice mgmt would definitely stay again when in the area nice long pull thru sites. Good Sam park.

Waypoint

For Kearney RV Park & Campground: Overnight stay, friendly staff, concrete pads and full hookups. Friendly staff and lots of space. Lots of walkers and bicycles around. Didn’t see any rowdy full timers as noted in previous post. Would stay here again.

Light Our Path

For Kearney RV Park & Campground: A basic but very clean park. No need to level with concrete pads. Easy in and out if you are in motor home with a tow car. Can leave it hooked up for quick overnight. Everything seems pretty new. Small playground and lake for swimming. The best part for us was the Apache RV store/repair center only 1 mile from park. They were AMAZING!

Traveling nurse

For Kearney RV Park & Campground: We were long term guests that stayed in the middle lot, what we call the middle class lot. The over night guests stay up in the high class lots up front unless you want to pay double your monthly rate to do so. The customer service here is awful. Pretty sure it's because there is no competition. Police showed up a few times throughout our stay...again not impressed. Kearney is a safe city, so I never felt threatened. There are a lot of workers in the back, so sometimes the drinking and partying get out of control. There is no regulation on that behavior either. Shower houses are never cleaned. Scary having children or pets outside considering no one obeys or enforces the speed limit. Gravel is not taken care of. Any rain, it will be a muddy mess. The owners don't seem to want to put any money into the place, just make the nice part where the over nighters stay taken care of and manicured just so. The pads are all different lengths. The cement pads up front are not 40 feet long. They are only about 20-25. I am a very positive person, but this place really struggles with treating long term guests with respect. Hope this helps!

RVer Travelor

For Kearney RV Park & Campground: OK for overnight stay. Pricy $46.00 including tax and Good Sam discount. Concrete pads are short, level but hookups are at opposite ends of RV or trailer. You may need longer hoses. Still heard highway noise, but close to highway so expect it. No cable for the price it should have it. Overall needs green space around sites, no shade just gravel/dirt around concrete pads. Small lake was pretty but not inviting to swim in.
