Park of the Sierras (Escapees Member Only Park)

A one-night stop-over to “re-stock”. Extremely clean bathroom/showers. Friendly and helpful staff and residents. No problems with site, water, electric, dump. Comfortable clubhouse. All the free ice you could want. Modest prices on soda/ice creams. Very reasonable fee. Good location.

Fantastic park an hour from the southern entrance to Yosemite. Half an hour into Fresno with all of the conveniences you could want. Park has a great layout, where you are not simply in a row stacked amongs other RVs. This feels much more like a big state park campground. Park has a new cable TV system, is working on upgrading the in Park Wi-Fi, and in January 2025, will be redoing the clubhouse, bathroom and shower facilities. They have a $50 off coupon for a one week stay, which pretty much pays for the required Escapees membership.

Stay Feb 2020. Superb park. Absolutely gorgeous. Bathrooms and showers were just ok. Laundry room was good. WiFi was pretty bad, I would have another way to connect if you want to. TV worked well, but did cut out as more people started watching it. Spaces are huge, and its not just a parking lot. Rolling hills with sites spaced around it. Lots of trees and grassy areas. It was a little difficult to get into/out of our site (117) but we made it ok. Dog park is fantastic. Go at 4 when there are other people/dogs there and its pretty fun. Lots of trails around the park to walk. They do have some other restrictive rules, but this park alone is worth the cost of Escapees yearly membership. We will be back.

Great spot to stop for the night or longer to explore the mountains and Yosemite. Friendly people. Pristine RV sites. Easy in/out. Great elevation all year.

Nice big sites. Staff is nice and friendly. Will return again.
