For Volcano Country Camping and RV: It’s an older campground. Lots of dust, but overall a good experience. Site 19 is good. Site 17 is better. Nice people. Store has a real variety. The restaurant is pretty good. Nice proximity to Lassen Volcanic. Worth looking at. Bathrooms need work and cleaning but they were functional. Close your eyes and you’re in a fancy shower.

For Volcano Country Camping and RV: Sites that back up to the larger meadow are the nicest and largest. No fires except for two communal pits. Bathrooms could use some work! Man at the store seems to be unfriendly. We only stayed one night. 31 footer fit good, site 18. Great price 25$

For Volcano Country Camping and RV: Stayed here in a 35' fifth wheel. Barely fit. When you get to the entrance you see a sign that tells you to go back an eighth of a mile to register at the lodge. You have to make a sharp turn on a slope to get there, be careful! The person registering us got snippy with me because I suggested better signage. I think this was probably a really nice park a few decades ago. I wouldn't stay here again.

For Volcano Country Camping and RV: Stayed here beginning of Oct 2015. Very late in the season. Small, quiet campground. Very convenient to Lassen NP. Being late in the season had to drive 35 miles for propane. Clean facilities. Would stay here again

For Volcano Country Camping and RV: Small park with good sized wooded sites. Some are snug to get a motor home into, but others are no problem. 40 feet may be really tight. Quiet, not crowded at all. Just 9 miles from SW entrance to Lassen NP. General store and restaurant (se owners) just 1/8th mile. Restaurant is Excellent! Large meadow adjacent to camp so good for running your pup. Electric is just 30 amp, but at this elevation it's usually not necessary to run A/C. If we are back this way we will surely stay here. Just 25$ a night. Stayed here in a 34'MH.
