For Latah County Fairgrounds RV Park: Gravel parking area for free dry camping, next to a grass field. Room for five units in the dry area, with another five sites with hookups for a fee. We stayed in the dry area. Thanks so much, Moscow!

For Latah County Fairgrounds RV Park: Stayed 2 nights in the free dry camping area. We are totally self-sufficient with solar power, and freshwater for many days, so didn’t bother occupying a paid space. There was one RV in the full hookup area, two in the electric only area, and one other RV besides us for one night in the free area. The entire fairgrounds is very well maintained and is an enjoyable, quiet and relaxing place to use as a base from which to explore the town and surrounding area. Note that use of the RV Dump facility IS NOT FREE. There is a $5 fee, which you deposit into a prominent payment box on a post next to the waste inlet location. The dump facility is clean, well designed and maintained. Rinse water is available at the waste inlet from a hose and on/off valve on a pedestal. Potable freshwater is available at a freeze-proof spigot with hose threads about 20 feet ahead of the waste inlet. The freshwater pressure is fairly high so using a pressure reducer may be advised, depending on how you obtain the water. I’m not sure how the 4-night limit per year for use of the free dry camping spaces is enforced. There was no place on the self-pay registration form and envelope to clearly indicate occupying a free space, and no one but ourselves to record our stay, or check us in or out of the facility. I believe it’s an honor system arrangement but if you plan to stay beyond the 4-night/year limit you may want to check with their office first.

For Latah County Fairgrounds RV Park: Some sites are behind and next to buildings that are electric only. A few are 50 amp. There is a dump station and potable water. The five FHU sites look as if they are occupied by full timers. The electric only sites are $17 a night. The grounds are clean and it is centrally located to Moscow. We stayed in a 40’.

For Latah County Fairgrounds RV Park: The staff are wonderful, take care of business, but not pestery. I used the electric only spot right across from office entrance for several nights. The full hookup spots are a little more developed as RV sites. The electric only spots are really just a parking lot by the office but they have a nice grassy area for picnics next to parking lot. I wish more fairgrounds and towns would do this as generates a little revenue and uses wasted space and provides RV folks a homebase while exploring an area.
