For South Fork RV Park: Surprising park near the John day fossil beds sheep pass unit and visitor center. The park is spacious peaceful and quiet. I think it’s the closest park to picture gorge and the visitor center Would stay again.

For South Fork RV Park: We stayed in a beautiful, spacious, shaded tent site right next to the South Fork John Day River in mid-May. The park is small, which keeps out noise and crowding. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. The restrooms are clean and new, but there is just one toilet and shower in the women's and men's restrooms, so there could be a wait to use them. We enjoyed a leisurely walk around the tiny town. We would definitely stay there again.

For South Fork RV Park: What a great little RV park in the middle of Dayville next to the river! Very clean, nice owners. Close to many tourist attractions and activities. And get your ice cream cone right across the street.

For South Fork RV Park: Great little park next to the John Day River. Full amenities but none of the usual RV park gravel desert experience. Stay here for a wonderful overnight or an extended exploration of central Oregon. Fantastic either way.

For South Fork RV Park: Loved this clean, natural little park! The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to back up to the river and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We didn’t hear any road noise, just the sound of birds and water.
