Mary Anne A McGinn

For Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort: We were pleasantly surprised as we were just passing through for one night. Although the pull throughs had no trees, the rest of the campground had nice trees and well maintained lawns. The original site we had had some standing water on the cement patio and surrounding dirt (therefore mud) that our dogs immediately got into. The staff changed our site swiftly and without a hitch. It was level and hookups all good. There is a shuttle that brings you over to the casino and back and we hardly waited at all for it. The morning continental breakfast left a bit to be desired but it was what it was. It would not be a destination unless you are really going for the casino but it more than served our purposes.

Jerry

For Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort: Great place to stay. Stop by hotel front desk to check in. Spots have water and electricity. Dump is free near the entrance. We would stay again.

Marina

For Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort: We stayed here for 2 nights, visiting Chicago. The park was well maintained, very quiet. The free breakfast was included as well. The campground has only electrical and water hookups, and there is a dump station at the entrance. The internet wasn't really working for us. To get to Chicago, we took Uber to the train station in Joliet and took a train from there. It took about 2 hours overall. The park is walk-able distance from the Casino, which was big and nice.

B and D

For Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort: After reading others descriptions, we were pleasantly surprised that this CG was nicer than we expected. More space, grass and trees than we’d imagined. No full hook ups, but a dump station is convenient. Check in at the hotel by the casino was easy and even though the signs said 4 pm check in, we arrived at 1 pm and had no problem. Close to I 80, casino, Chicagoland Speedway. Free breakfast offered with stay.

Greg Gillespie

For Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort: have stayed at this Park multiple times over the past 2 years. Note there are no full hook sites. The website states there are none but worth pointing out. Easy access, level sites. Some of the back in sites are short. Good spacing between sites. Check in is at hotel so stop there before pulling into park. Dump station is behind hotel .... again easy access from both sides allowing dump on way in and out. Restrooms ok with key card access. Will stay again as the choices in Chicagoland are limited.

Vegan Packer

For Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort: I stayed here overnight in a motorhome. This was one of the only places to stay in the area. I am not saying that I didn't know what I was doing when I agreed to stay here, but that doesn't make me any happier about this place. The rate to stay starts off as acceptable--until you become aware of a ten dollar "resort fee" that is added to the tab. That would be fine for staying at the location for some kind of a vacation destination, but to pay for that when your only intention is to have a place to stay for the night before taking off again the next morning seems unfair. Again, I knew that they charged for this and accepted, but I still don't like it or think that it's fair. I was too tired to move on to another destination. They give you two ten ounce bottles of water and a whole five dollar discount breakfast coupon with the price for the RV site. I didn't bother with breakfast, because I am pretty certain that this coupon isn't for some kind of included breakfast for free, which was part of the impression that they give before giving you the coupon. This is clearly a marketing tactic to get you to buy product at their restaurant. Don't make like it is included, when we both know that this really means that you will pay even more than the RV park price to try to use the coupon for anything more than perhaps a drink with a meal. The spots are level and mostly cement. I'm not sure if they have 50 amp service, but my spot had 30 amp service and a water hookup. The site was so narrow (and my unit is only 7'6" wide) that you end out having to walk on the ground, not cement, to enter your motorhome from the side. It is possible that there are bigger sites that don't have this problem. There is a separate dump station, the use of which is included in your site fee, but even that was a problem. If you use a popular brand of dump hose that has any kind of elbow on the end for fitting into a typical park sewer connection, it won't work. I ended out leaving without dumping my holding tanks, a big part of the incentive for me to stay there and pay the fee and extra charges instead of dry camping somewhere along my route. If you don't care about how much you are paying versus what you get, and if you don't intend to dump your holding tanks on site, the place is otherwise fine and clean. I won't be stopping here again.

Leedah

For Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Resort: I located this location using the Good Sam app initially. The location was clean. Due to the off season (I arrived Mar. 23) the park area was deserted except for one lone camper.

The offseason rate of $20 included only electricity, no water or dumping. It was quiet, very peaceful setting and several small deer were milling around (they will sprint away if you get close). Check out is 11am, but ask for a 12noon free check out. The security guard drives around patrolling the area like a hawk so no random people will get in.

The location offers free breakfast, but we cooked our own in the rig. Also their is a free shuttle to the casino in the adjacent area but it's in walking distance.
