For Buffalo Trace Park: Very pretty park with small lake lots of Hickory trees. Signage to sites is poor and site map given at check in is useless!! Someone needs to add toner to copy machine. Our site 49 is quite narrow and has no spot for the picnic table.. it was at rear of site perched on edge of a washed out drainage ditch. I’ve seen some references to full hookups but I suspect that means water and electricity. Local knowledge would help for picking a site suitable for your rig

For Buffalo Trace Park: We stayed here last weekend. It is a really nice campground. Great prices. Pads for parking rv were a little narrow but not too bad. Our spot didn’t have much flat area other than the pad but it was still nice. We had a view of the lake and were under mature shade trees. Nice bike/walking path that went all around the lake. Water and electric at most/all sites that I could see. Dump station was fine. There were some ducks that would beg for food but if you ignored them they left. Boat rental, boat launch, area to launch kayaks on campground side. Swimming beach-opens Memorial Day. We camped while visiting Squire Boone caverns and marengo cave. Close to both and Indiana caverns. Really nice campground for kids. Main downfall was that sites were somewhat small. Will visit again if headed to the area.

For Buffalo Trace Park: Small park which could be a very charming campground. However they have let the duck population get out of control. I could easily count over 100 ducks in my viewpoint from camp site. There is a very nice walking/biking path around the lake. Unfortunately it full of duck crap. In fact, there is duck crap everywhere. Ducks have overrun the park. I had 17 ducks in my campsite asleep! When leaving the dump station had no water for rinsing. In 40 years of camping this is a first. Charming park but terribly mismanaged. Would not recommend staying here.

For Buffalo Trace Park: This small county park is undergoing renovations and there is no potable water at any site. Roads are one lane so be aware of the direction of entry. Someone was in our campsite we had reserved 6 months ago online. The one dice said that sometimes happens. Pull thru sites are very close and most all sites are not level and most are short. We stayed in a TT. Won’t return here.
