Rolls

For Fort Belvoir Travel Camp: Well maintained with paved roads and pads. Full hookups all worked well. Not a lot of shade so be prepared if you come in the summer. The water front spots aren't really water front either; not much of a view from spots 48, 49, 50. Friendly staff that was helpful during the reservation process and at check-in. A little pricey but we will stay here again.

AAC

For Fort Belvoir Travel Camp: Stayed here in the fall of 2016. Very nice sites located in a nice area. The scheduling issues negate the good things though. They need to switch to assigning sites when people arrive instead of playing musical chairs with everyone in the park. Moving people around for no reason other than trying to stick to sites assigned when booking causes all kinds of problems including double booking. All of the sites are nice and all can accommodate big rigs so there is no need to assign a specific site until people arrive.

Keeter59

For Fort Belvoir Travel Camp: While the park is beautiful and located right on the river the policies and scheduling is atrocious. The cost is $50 a night, which is atrocious as well. It is very clean and well-kept however. But it does not take away from the scheduling of spots and the cost. So I give the location five stars but the logistics of getting a space and keeping a space even for a few days, one star.

Dan

For Fort Belvoir Travel Camp: A really nice campground. It would have got 5 stars but the price to camp is way out of wack. They need to get in line with the rest of the military campgrounds
I would stay here again.

Den

For Fort Belvoir Travel Camp: Beautiful addition to Ft Belvoir -- Home of the US Army Corps of Engineers for many years In the past.

A little sad that the park design did not capitalize upon the river view. Most sites face away from the water. With more attention to landscaping this could become a premier campground.

Mac

For Fort Belvoir Travel Camp: stayed here March 14-15, 2015. Clean grounds, no problem getting around. Clean bathhouse. Nice view of the water and no issue with the site or hookups. Wish there were more trees in the park to provide shade but overall a pleasant stay.

Cary & Jeanette

For Fort Belvoir Travel Camp: Stayed here from May 12 thru May 19, 2014. Beautiful and well organized Family Campground. Bath house and laundry colocated and immaculate. Security was great and easy to access everything on base. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Best place to stay and a short drive to catch the Metro into Washington DC. Couldn't have had a better stay anywhere!
