For Ver-El RV Park and Campground: We had major coach issues (shut down engine). Working with Freightliner who are ordering parts.
Jerome and Mantra could not have been more accommodating. It is week prior to Coca-Cola 600 and they are booked solid. We are having to stay at least 1 extra day and they tell us not to worry as they will find a place for us. Could not have asked for more. Thank you Jerome and Mantra. We will be back as my husbands mother lives in Concord. Kay and Larry

For Ver-El RV Park and Campground: Really basic. Just a grass lot with RV sites tightly crammed together. Seems to be a lot of long term residents. NO BATHHOUSE (their website advertises a shower room but I was told they closed it down because it was being abused by non-guests). Since this area hosts some major events (Charlotte Motor Speedway, concerts, auto shows, carnivals/fairs), the owners clearly cater to it and the property doubles as event parking. And just my luck, I picked the week the carnival is in town and it's literally right next to the RV park and every inch of space is being used for carnival parking, so there's a ton of traffic and commotion around here. Thoroughly disappointed, I would've gone elsewhere if I knew about the carnival. On a positive note, the staff is super friendly and helpful and the price isn't bad, so I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt that this place isn't too terribly bad when there are no events going on, hence two stars instead of one.
