For Paradise Farm RV Park: Extra charges a plenty! On top of the 40$ a night camp fee, Owner charged us for my mums car, for my kids play tent, for leaving one hr after "checkout" time. He charged us $70!!! for one night on his RV parking pad by the time he was done gouging us. We would have left, but we arrived late and had tiered and grumpy kids by that time, so we were forced to stay. And he took advantage of that fact. We will plan to avoid Paradise RV Park if we visit newfoundland again in the future.

For Paradise Farm RV Park: Large, level back in sites -we chose the gravel sites backing onto the lake - two RVs and could have fit another in between us! Other sites are more grassy and some closer to the washrooms and showers (which we didn't use as we never do). Cash only. Choose any site and the owner comes later to collect. Easy access to highway and near Bonavista and Elliston.

For Paradise Farm RV Park: The bathrooms are subpar. I chose to skip my shower. Otherwise it’s a regular RV park.

For Paradise Farm RV Park: Nice place. It’s really a big field with a ring road with sites set up all around it. The sites were very clean and spacious. The bathrooms and showers are in an old building and hopefully will be updated soon... we skipped taking our showers in them... a little creepy but relatively clean. The owner was not on site when we arrived and I got a hold of him on the phone and he said pick any empty site and he would see us later. Around supper time he came by signed us in. It’s still a cash only park and I was glad I had read that in a previous review so I was ready. The owner is a really nice guy and he is working st making this park better but we found it quite adequate to our needs.

Gary

For Paradise Farm RV Park: Owner is Great! He has updated the park and is working to make it even better. He has installed super 50 amp service to all sites. 1st 50 amp service we have had in NL. Good cell service available. Currently cash only. Rate was $40 including tax for water and 50 amp.

For Paradise Farm RV Park: What an accommodating owner with excellent customer service! This is the only campground close to Bonavista, so it can get pretty full. He was able to get us into a site with only water and electric, so we were so pleased. The park only takes cash, we didn't have enough Canadian currency, so he said he would wait until the next day, no worries. He didn't want to cheat us taking the American currency. He's extremely personable.
Washrooms were close by and clean. Would definitely stay here again.
