As other reviewers have said - a "no frills" kinda place in the middle of the west-Texas desert. Called and made a reservation over the phone. Checked in late, but our paperwork and instructions were left for us. Did pay the extra $3 for WiFi (and it worked well enough). Showers were clean but basic. The do have a small fenced dog walk area but no real grass (this is west-Texas after all).

No frills park. Dirt with small concrete pad. Lots of construction in the area so pretty dusty. No TV. $3 daily for WiFi but Mgr said it often didn’t work a lot of the time. In all fairness to the management, as we were checking in they got a call from the owners agreeing to sell the park to the current manager. You may therefore see some positive changes in the future. If you are passing through the area and needed a place to stay it would be worth a stop. Checkin was East and everything seemed to work (although we just got here and have our fingers crossed.

This is an Escapees Park in Pecos, TX. It is mostly oilfield workers here who stay here permanently. For travellers passing through they put you on an end row pull thru. There is nothing fancy here but a place to stay for a reasonable price. We stayed one night in our fifth wheel. I called several other campgrounds in the area and they were full. The phone was constantly busy at this one so we just pulled in and took a chance. The front desk woman was super nice and was excited to have escapees stop. WOULD stay here again for a night or two.

This is an inexpensive no frills park, we are Escapees so the price is in our budget. Park is mostly oilfield workers, everyone we encountered were pleasant. Very helpful staff, did 3 loads laundry, stayed 2 nights.

Stayed 1 night in April 2017. Park full of long timers in junky RVs. Next to airport and oil rigs which had an annoying hum all night. Restrooms dirty and needed updating. Ok for a night.
