For Krause Springs: Tge springs are amazing and well worth a trip. Surprised by the negative reviews. We visited for 4 nights in early march. The place was nearly empty, well developed and maintained. Showers are cold water only. No pets outside of vehicle. I would imagine this place is crowded in the warmer months.

For Krause Springs: Sooo overcrowded. They allow day passes for people to come use the grounds, no limit. The pool and river area were so crowded that it was actually unsafe with kids. Gorgeous grounds that are being allowed to be trashed by crowds and poor maintenance. Would NEVER go again on a weekend with kids.

For Krause Springs: All we really ask for is a clean bathroom...
This is a neat place. Stayed one night. The springs are really nice. We swam and walked around. The grounds are ok, but not very well maintained. The dirt roads are all rutted out, probably due to all the heavy rain. The bathrooms are spacious and a work of art, however, I could not guess the last time they were cleaned. The shower would benefit from just being hosed out! Oh, and one more thing... THE WATER IS NOT HEATED! Not really all that bad, but really??
Cut the grass, scrape the roads and clean the bathrooms and stars go way up.
