We literally rolled off I10 after seeing the old sign and tripped into this gem of an RV park. Lovely staff, huge common area room with slot machines! Won 200.00! Played ping pong and table hockey, watch a bit of news. Large sites, pick your own. Highly recommend.

This park was a very nice stop on our trip. Easy on and off the interstate and quiet. Very nice person in the office. Very accommodating. A pleasant find and definitely recommend.

Easy access, level pull thru sites. Not wide, but diagonally laid out which is nice for a feeling of more space. Good laundry. The park appears to be recently renovated, with a major addition under construction. Unfortunately the earth moving creates dust and noise, which in addition to close proximity to I 10 and several truck stops results in a very noisy environment.
Still, good value for $30.

Texas hospitality was shown in our stay. Running late, so I called hoping to make a reservation. Was told the park was full, then told we’re there were four sites still open. I was to find one and stay. We would settle up in the morning Lots of “extras”, fitness, 24 hour ice, dog walk.

I have two comments to add The sites in ur row were small within our row were small without room for a picnic table. But the showers were wonderful ! They were a complete shower room with toilet, sink, shower, and lots of space!

Big clean (although dirt) park. Huge fenced dog area. Very reasonably priced @$25. Ton of cable channels! I have stayed in several parks in Van Horn, this is the best IMO. Will stay here when passing through from now on.

Other reviews are true. New owners and serious upgrades. Price a little high for dirt everything, no picnic tables and no pool. The upgrades are quite nice. Good cable tv. WiFi a joke as usual. There are good walking trails to the back of the campground. Keep your dogs close. Coyotes and snakes. When you choose a site be careful of the trees. Most are high enough however we had to move sites due to trees. Could not open slides. Big rigs with tow should choose the west side sites as they aren’t long termers and the roads are wider in case you tow hangs off. Odd thing is they only wanted my credit pard/payment. Never took personal information…my name, etc. and when I called to make a reservation they said I didn’t need one. Just show up. Freeway is white noise and a distant train that wasn’t a problem. They also don’t give ANY discounts. Said the new owners haven’t decided if they want to. I’m also guessing you pay per the size of your rig. $38 for a 40 ft and tow. All she asked was what size and gave a price. Wide roads (all dirt). Easy to maneuver in and out with a tow. Good for an overnight

I’m only giving this a four star because of the price. I thought it was a little to expensive for a pull off highway campground. But I can say that the sites are very level and the place was very clean. I used the shower house and was blown away on how nice it was. Would stay again if needed a pull off for the night.

New ownership, and they are fixing this place up. Ignore the ratty freeway sign. This place is great. Large sites, gravel and level. Showers and bathrooms new and super clean. Work in progress includes a fitness center and community room. Very reasonably priced. Some freeway noise, but not bad.
