Wanderer

For Harry Gardner Park: Sites are large and level. Logging truck noise starts at 4 am!! And the campground is right next to the road!

Bill

For Harry Gardner Park: We recently had a small family reunion here. The park actually is pretty nice. We used the cover and surrounding area. It was guite warm the day we were there but thankfully there was plenty of shade and a real nice breeze most of the day! The only thing we didn't like was the smell of the restrooms. We understand that they are just large outhouses but maybe somekind of air freshener would help. The restroom on the right side of the grounds was really bad! Someone had pooed on the floor and smeared it all over! So we just used the other one. Other than that, it was a pretty good day!

Fireweed

For Harry Gardner Park: County owned campground that has been reconstructed since the May 18, 1980 eruption. Nice location on the South Toutle River with plenty of area to explore. Great sand and a playground for the kids. Not too many trees. Sites are mostly gravel, have fire pits, water and power. Group picnic shelter. Nice.
