Shangri-La Ranch (Clothing Optional)

For the last 6 years or so we have been visiting Shangri la ranch and this visit will be our last! When I first started coming I was shy and uncomfortable and wasn't too sure I would enjoy myself let alone take off my clothes but as time went on and I looked around and noticed people weren't looking at me and none had cellphones out and there where no cameras. I could just be me. Now after this visit we won't be returning for a few reasons but the biggest one is everywhere I look there is a camera pointed at and video taping me!!!!! Even though I know from coming here that it is a clothing optional resort there are still places you are required to be nude, such as the pool. I was told no cameras were allowed!!! When I checked in I was not told of this new development and warned about it nor was I asked to sign a release stating I new about it and agreed to it, as well as it isn't posted anywhere. It completely violated my privacy, and the trust and integrity I held for the shangri la ranch. So I am doing what none did for me and warning everyone if you don't want to be on camera and embarrassed and have your trust violated like mine was DO NOT COME HERE!!! Also as a side note any camera feed that is connected to the Internet can be hacked and I do not feel comfortable with my face being slashed all across the Internet for anyone to watch do to their inconsiderate violation of my privacy in video tapping me. In the past I have recommended shangri la ranch to anyone I meet that's interested in the nudist lifestyle, as well as brought many friends and family over the years, who continued to come afterwards that I know will not be returning now!!!!

Nice place friendly staff level sites lots of year-round residents more active on the weekends two pools and hot tub mostly gravel sites with paved roads.
