For Adventureland Campground: Family-oriented park with estimated 50% of sites occupied by workers for local theme park snd casino. Pleasant enough, but pads are quite narrow by today’s standards. Power pedestal leans at an angle but power was solid and didn’t fluctuate. Water was brown when we ran it to clear the spigot! Trolly runs through the park regularly. Dog park was nice, children’s play area popular and pool was in great use. Sites weren’t too close but the admonishments about the grass were a bit over the top. Streets are one way and narrow. When you are arriving and turn onto Adventureland road, turn right at the 4th driveway, no street sign, just before the traffic light. There is a sign for the campground but it is parallel to the road, so of little help. When we phoned for a reservation we were told there were no sites available for our size rig. But it was very difficult to understand the agent as her accent was hard to understand. I hung up. Called back, got a different agent who booked us immediately.

For Adventureland Campground: I actually give it 3.5, Very large park that shows some age and is a little tight in spots. Noise from the amusement park is not as loud as I expected. Also very close to casino and lots of restaurants. Would be a great place to camp here with kids or grand kids. Prices are very reasonable.

For Adventureland Campground: Sort of a cattle call park. Massive and although fairly well maintained it really has no sense of privacy or identity. Unless you are there for the amusement park or gambling stay at Griff’s (about 10 minutes away)

For Adventureland Campground: We stayed here by complete accident; it was not our destination as it was most likely for the majority. We just needed a place to stay for the night. Totally adequate; full hookups; grassy site; very squished in together; lots of nicely mowed areas to walk the dogs; poor, poor signage on road as to where to pull in which with big fig and tow behind that cannot back up without removing car..... not good. Would be fabulous if you are actually going to Adventureland as a destination.

Quick6

For Adventureland Campground: Starting off, this campgrounds staff are extremely friendly and helpful. -2 stars for 2 reasons: 1. Absolutely no fire pits/rings/circles... So if you want a fire, ya gotta bring your own pit. 2. Bathhouses are HOT! No ventilation. Suggestion to put ceiling fans in and possible venting fans.

It is right off I-80 so it's location is nice, but a bit loud from with its proximity to the theme park. It's 50/50 if you get a shaded area, so request one if you can.

Pool is nice, but no shade or umbrellas so bring spf50 with you... I'll probably pass on staying again.
