For Pound River Campground - John W Flannagan Reservoir: We didn’t stay here, but drove through it on a scouting expedition. The previous reviewer was correct that it’s a nice campground with some cool, quiet sites. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here. I can’t imagine pulling our 25’ tag along down that entry road. Over a mile long with river on one side and rock wall on the other and only couple of small pull outs. If you meet someone…someone is backing up. You could sent someone ahead to hold traffic. I’m sure lots of people do it, so may the force be with you.

For Pound River Campground - John W Flannagan Reservoir: Very remote but one of the top campgrounds we have stayed at. Small, quite, clean and family friendly. Very well maintained. Some with concrete pads. Very nice tent sites also. Beautifully located right along Pound River. Great for relaxing, fishing and kayaking or boating as there is a launch on site. Absolutely best hosts you will ever meet. Road is narrow as it runs right along the river with some close cliffs but we made it no problem with a 38 ft class A motor home towing a vehicle. Would be 5 stars if it had full hookup.
