Tom

For Wilderness Edge Campground: Campground is poorly designed. The power and water hookups are located to the left and front of the camp spot. This means you either have to have your rig situated with the door near the road or a water and power extension to reach your hookup. Restroom and shower adequate. Ladies room had a puddle to negotiate leading to the shower.

Leigh

For Wilderness Edge Campground: We had an incredible 4 days at Wilderness Edge. The hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. We requested a secluded location and they tucked us into the perfect spot(10). All sites looked relatively private. We utilized the showers and laundry which both were clean and worked well. There were a lot of options for food nearby and outdoor activities(hike, bike, canoe, ATV). Mt. Katahdin was stunning and only 15 min to Baxter State Park. We would absolutely come back again.

Sandy

For Wilderness Edge Campground: Don’t rely on reserving a specific site at this place. When you get arrive, if someone wanted it ahead of you, it’s there’s. This happened to two other campers we talked to. The owner also tries to hike up your remaining balance of what you owe when you arrive. That also happened to two other campers. The site we ended up in was by the office, in an overflow dumpy area right next to busy street noise. We wanted a satellite friendly site, which we were supposed to have, and he states, “People don’t come up here to watch TV”. He just was rude, and never have we had in 20 years of RV’ing a campground owner blame us for his shotty way of doing business.
