Honestly

For Faywood Hot Springs: Prices are not correct as we were told $35.00 a night but that was for 1 person so our total for the night was $57.00. What a dirty, dump. Reminded us of a 1970’s cult commune. There are clothes optional pools but everyone where in the buff. One pool (the nicest one - if you could call any of them nice) had about 15-20 men in the buff. Don’t go, expensive and grubby.

Lynn R

For Faywood Hot Springs: Expensive for what you get. This campground is no longer a Passport America campground but we thought we would give it a shot because of the hot spring pools. We are traveling with two smallish campers and the owner(?) said her 30 amp sites were full but we could share one of her 50 amp sites. She was friendly and accommodating but maybe a little ditzy. Tried to assign us a long site #9 but it showed it was occupied (it wasn’t), then said she was giving us her largest site #8 where we could park side by side (it wasn’t, it was their smallest site). Their largest site #10 would have worked perfectly as she described it but was occupied. RV sites do not have picnic tables for eating outside. Hot spring pools were nice and relaxing, a saving grace. Two out of the three groups of public pools are clothing optional.

Paul Cummings

For Faywood Hot Springs: Had a site at the nearby state park that wasn’t accommodating to my 26 ft MotorHome. Went down the road to Faywood Hot springs and was very happy with my decision. The hot pools were very relaxing and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would have no problem coming back to this campground.

For Faywood Hot Springs: Not fancy, not frilly, not sophisticated - but just right. If you enjoy spas and like being away from the roaring crowd, Faywood is just for you. There are hookups with electric and water, and places to maneuver if you have a large rig. The welcome staff is friendly and laid-back. The soaking tubs are kept clean, as are the rest of the premises. It is quiet, and the water is good and hot. We camped in a 17’ travel trailer, and this was out third visit.

For Faywood Hot Springs: Love this place. Have been twice this summer. Hear it’s pretty packed in the winter. We don’t dig crowds so we are kind of off season type people. Never been to a clothing optional kind of place before! There are private no clothing areas, we stayed in the clothes campsites. If you plan ahead, you can reserve one of the private, fully fenced Mineral pools. Good for the timid that might enjoy a private, clothing optional starry evening soak. Also, great acreage out the back gate for long dog walks for our two mid sized mutts! Internet worked great.

SOMEBonnie

For Faywood Hot Springs: Faywood is reminiscent of a late sixties commune. A place that time forgot but, a place worth visiting and supporting the new owners who are little by little reimagining what Faywood can become with time, investment and commitment. Enjoy the tranquility, simple pleasure of a hot soak and this step back in time!
