For Campbell Cove Camping: It’s not often that I write a review but this place demands one. Campbell Cove was hands down one of the worst experiences I have had camping. Don’t come here to camp or sleep. The sites are on top of each other. Zero quite time hours enforced. I can say with certainty you will not sleep here at Campbell Cove. Many, many disrespectful people partying and banging car doors to well past 3:30 AM. I was unable to find water or trash bins around the camp. Campbell Cove has very poorly marked sites and parking. Never stay here.

For Campbell Cove Camping: Extremely overpriced campground in the Hocking Hills area. Established in 1974 and there are many Old run down permanent campers. New restroom building but I did not check it out. Claims to be on Lake Logan...and it is, about 30 feet of stagnate cove frontage with tents all around. Stone roads and site surface. No paper info or map when we checked in. Teenagers were in charge. Won’t stay here again. Dump station right in road leading to our site. Paid $51.

Austin

For Campbell Cove Camping: These people are thieves. A group of friends and I had reservations for the weekend at this campground. When we arrived there was a gate with signs saying to call their number to register. We called the number and no one answered but the gate opened so we drove in.

While looking for an office to register at, we were chased down by a lady on a golf cart who demanded to know why we entered the campgrounds before registering. I explained that we were confused and didn't know what to do but that we had reservations and wanted to register.

The lady and another man continued to be rude to us about entering the campground until I said that we'd just find somewhere else to stay. They told me "good luck" but said they'd refund our money.

The next day we called and requested that they credit our account but they told us that we had broken the rules and they wouldn't refund us our money. They then hung up on us multiple times. These are rude, nasty people who don't deserve your (and especially our) money. They essentially robbed us of 75 dollars. There are plenty of campgrounds around. Don't give these people your money.
