Garrett Ham

For Black Hawk Creek RV Park & Cabins: Quiet, clean, spacious park. Managers are very nice and accommodating. Close enough to interstate to be convenient, far away enough to be peaceful. Spent three nights, would stay again if in the area.

For Black Hawk Creek RV Park & Cabins: If you need a RV Park that is within a reasonable amount of miles to Crazy Horse, Cosmos Mystery Area & Mount Rushmore, this place is it & fairly reasonable. Justin & Ginger were very friendly & accommodating. I highly recommend this campground.

For Black Hawk Creek RV Park & Cabins: What a little gem of a campground! Be careful if using your GPS to find it as my GPS put it about a mile farther down the road than it actually was. The CG could use a little TLC but it was quiet, a full hookup, all pull through sites and nice views. There is a very large grassy area in front of the CG to run and play with the dog. I believe this CG must have an interesting history as there is a memorial wall (much like a cemetary) down from the grassy area along with a very sizable playground with good old fashioned playground equipment like jungle gyms. It looks like there are showers and bathrooms available but we did not use so I cannot comment. I called the number listed but got no answer or call back so left a message and decided to check it out anyway. There were only two other campers here so plenty of space for us. When you enter there is a sign that says "open all year" "call...…" but no number. While walking the dog I found the office which is a TT above the CG with a sign saying OFFICE but there wasn't anyone at home....taped an envelope to the front door with a check for $25 in it for site #6 and my phone number in case we needed to include additional funds. Great Verizon coverage and 4G! We would stay here again in our 28' TT. this would be a great affordable CG to visit the Mt Rushmore area.

For Black Hawk Creek RV Park & Cabins: We stayed in June 2019. Jane is a wonderful host and owner. There are full hook-uos but no ammentities (we rar er ly use at sites so we were pleased) Beautiful views, in open field, no trees. Very peaceful.

Breanna

For Black Hawk Creek RV Park & Cabins: Decent place. No trees but lots of grass. There is a nightly rate and is not by donation only has website states. Paid $25 for the night and that is off season rate. Host was very nice. Had full hookups of water, electric and sewer. Has cabins for rent and a playground. All in all a nice place but didn't like that that a rate was set and didn't know it until we picked a spot.
