For Cottonwood - Rifle Gap State Park: A great campground in a state park. Very clean restrooms, spacious sites. We used it for a base camp to visit Rifle Falls state park. Sites have concrete pads and a very level.

For Cottonwood - Rifle Gap State Park: Beautiful, quiet location with hookups. We spent 3 nights here and would definitely return. Rifle Falls SP is only 5 miles away and also has great spots. Both worth the visit!

For Cottonwood - Rifle Gap State Park: Nice state park right on the reservoir. We arrived late, and our name was posted on our site. Large sites with lots of space. We're in a 45 foot motorhome and the site was built up with a patio cover over the table. Paved sites and roads. Beautiful area. 10 minute drive to the waterfalls, which are spectacular. We would certainly go back and stay longer. Note - this isn't really a "just passing thru" place to stay, as it's 15-20 minutes from the freeway. But if you want to check out the water falls or fish the reservoir, this is the place to stay.
