Love this quiet and picturesque campground! The staff is friendly and helpful, the sites are generous and clean and the Yampa river brings peacefulness to the place. Try it and you won’t be disappointed.
PS Take the walking path around twice to rack up a mile and a half. Try it around sunset.

Lovely, spotlessly maintained campground with huge, widely spaced sites. Some sites are back-in, some are pull-through. Fill up with water at dump station upon arrival. Extra spigots “shared” around campground. Electric at sites. 1.25 mile walking trail surrounds campground - partly along river, part goes through wildlife preserve. Very nice kids playground positioned well away from campsites. Highway noise is there, but not really obtrusive.

New state park, very nice. There aren’t mature trees so it’s quite open. There is only electricity on sites, but a nice dual dump station. You can fill up water at dump station and there are also spigots throughout campground. One nice feature was a wind screen/shelter on each site to provide shade and wind protection around tables. It is near highway but noise wasn’t bad at all. Lovely visitors center, staff very helpful.

As described!!! We used the AllStays app to find all of our camping while traveling out West. So thrilled to find every campground we chose has been spot on as described. This is a lovely campground, clean showers, hiking, and close to the river for kayakers...
