For West Shores RV Park: I've had this happen twice. I pull into an RV park for an overnight stay and am still there a month later. This is one. I came here because I wanted a warm non-windy place to hang out for a few days to figure out where to go next. It's now been 2 months and I'm still here. This is my kind of place: fairly quiet. Maybe 1/4 permanent. Friendly people. Bar and restaurant is open at least a few days a week and is nice change for me. Right next to shore of the receding Salton Sea. Decent walking areas. But the big attraction is paramotors. There's a field next to the park where people take off and land in this amazing rigs that I had never seen before. A parachute/sail, a 4' propellor, and a 2-cycle engine strapped to the back, and the sail up up and away. Amazing to watch. (But I'm not doin' it.). Negatives: a little hard to receive stuff. Address works for UPS/FedEx but is undeliverable for USPS. There's a contract post office a couple of miles away that has boxes. Also, the address really ought to be 2740 Seagarden. No-one knows where the 559 came from. But UPS can find it.
