For Big Buffalo Creek Conservation Area: I visited here in mid-June. There were 7 or 8 wooded back-in sites with gravel drives and pads of varying depths. Each had a small fire pit area circled with stones. There was also an open area of more than an acre of grass for tents in a large area inside a circle gravel drive plus other tent sites butting up to the woods. Camping is limited to 14 days.

The grass was recently mowed, the pit latrine extremely clean, and the entire area was well maintained.

This is a primitive conservation area. There is no access to running water or trash receptacles. I was unable to get a cell signal in the campground area.

There is a trail (old logging road) from the campground that if followed 1.6 miles leads to a 6 acre fishing lake. There are other multi use trails in the conservation area.

For Big Buffalo Creek Conservation Area: I'm assuming the reader understands and embraces primitive camping (I.e. no services at all). Access is a well maintained gravel road. Sites are all back ins and a few accommodated our 31 foot trailer. There is a nice trailhead in the campsite. It is quiet, peaceful and clean.
