For Snowbird West RV Park: This isn't your run of the mill RV park. I always say I never would've ended up at a place like this, except for the weird way I ran into the idea of this place.. There's no hookups; bring solar or a generator (ideally solar) Water is on 6 days a week and you'll get used to the schedule if you stay here long enough. Things have been improving at the park within the last couple years, and the rates have gone up during that time (only complaint is that the rate seems to be something they're willing to change more often than the accomodations) The real reason we like this park: the people! everyone is friendly and there's no hidden agendas or typical "park politics" that you get with some of the more "snowbirdy" parks. People are very welcoming and non judgmental, this is the place to stop for a night, or a whole season! There's nothing close by, aside from Harquahala Mountain.. groceries and such aren't close, but "close enough" if you're used to being in the back country of America. I think it's easy to overlook Snowbird West, but it's probably one of the only RV parks in the whole country that checks all the boxes for RVers who prefer off-grid camping, but those who also get tired of hauling water and using dump stations

For Snowbird West RV Park: Good for an overnight stay...no electrical hookups, its basically dry camping though water is available when they run the camp generator...showers had plenty of hot water, while generator was running....laundry available but you have to sign up ahead of time. Caters mainly to long term snowbirds I think. Nice folks managing the place. Cell signal was weak, had to use booster and even then, not too great.
