Darren the Barbarian

For The View Campground: Expensive for dry camping but it may be the best value in the area. Great views. It's where you want to be. If you can dry camp it works. The 20 bucks for entry is what you will pay even if you stay elsewhere in the area. there are no great options in the area. Skip the KOA. DTB

For The View Campground: Simple dry camping in a gravel parking lot - with a picnic table but little else. But - the attraction is the view and ease of access to the Monument Valley experience. My RV has all the amenities I needed and it was cool enough in late September to not need AC (or a generator to run it). As a photographer, it was a simple walk to prime spots at both sunrise and sunset! That alone was worth the price of admission! Wild horses, stray dogs and an endless caravan of rental RV's did not diminish the beauty of staring at the mittens and colorful skies!

Black Hills Tiger

For The View Campground: This park is a big rip-off. For the amount of money you're going to spend, stay nearby at a park with full hook-ups. You'll end up paying the $20 entrance fee no matter what. The website photos are photo shopped and the brochure lists an off-season (no dates actually given) rate of $50/night. And they have a NO PET policy! No hook-ups, no view, a hot gravel slot, minimal to no security, and pet unfriendly.

Mark Evans

For The View Campground: $21 for a tent. $1.58 for a cup of coffee, a nice little museum, hiking trails, art gallery, wifi at the office, hot showers and spectacular views.

Bullwinkle

For The View Campground: First the Sat picture in not the latest view, they have new campground.
$42 night for Dry Camping. Must have been 30 or more sites all side by side facing east.
Not real level but could level with jacks. 80% or better rvs were class C rentals.
## What was worth the $42 was the view of the sunrise behind the Mittens. That was out of worth every penny.
