Brown County State Park is absolutely beautiful. The campground is an acceptable camp ground. We were there mid September on a Saturday an it was packed. Toilets were clean, showers all worked. Firewood was $6 per bundle. It's pricey, but if that's what your expecting, it's a great place. There were also lots of activities for kids, though we weren't there long enough to try them out. I'd go back if I had the budget and liked lots of neighbors.
