For Scott Creek - Hillsdale State Park: Stayed in “Crappie Cove” campground w 30amp hook up and water. Doing a walk up was no problem. Signs indicated there were some full hookups available too. Had direct lake access from the site via a small path. Unfortunately the lake was all mud and there were tons of dead fish on the shores. We also kept getting the waft of cat urine smell which was easily covered up w campfire and cooking, but if there was no campfire or cooking going on WoW!!! However, doubt that is an issue through the entire campground or park and could have been just our site... Sites at Crappie Cove were kinda close but had good tree coverage and we’re not right on top of each other. Back ins and pull throughs. Facilities were nice and well kept up.

For Scott Creek - Hillsdale State Park: The fees that are tacked on are incredibly high, The camp sites are wide and spacious with some FHU 50 amp and concrete parking pads. No shade trees but the grounds are well maintained. Clean and tidy being a good place for us to stay a few days before traveling across the country.

For Scott Creek - Hillsdale State Park: This is a delightful Campground!

We parked in the sunflowers section with full 50 amp hook ups on a backin gravel site.

We had a nice view of the lake. Although there were several sites closer to the lake, ours was not one of them. The campground is pretty open with lots of space between the units. Several other campsites have fires going.

The camp host was wonderful and searched through all available inventory to get us a site with the best possible view.

We didn't check out the showers. We are traveling in a 35 foot motorhome towing.

We stayed here for two nights and visited several sites and barbecue restaurants in Kansas City. The park is about 30 to 45 minutes south west of the city. Convenient and peaceful after a long day being tourists.
