For Circle Drive - Scott State Park: Nice state park facility with good separation between sites and the camp host was very helpful and friendly. Active fly population…….there many equestrian camping areas around the stat park/lake and has created a large fly population. I suspect if you go in early spring or fall the flies would be less of an issue.

For Circle Drive - Scott State Park: This was a wonderful find for us in an area of Kansas one would think there is no reason to come here. But, there is and we wanted to visit Monument Rocks and the new state park, Little Jerusalem State Park. Both are a short drive from Lake Scott and this state park is like an oasis in a vast prairie land. It's another one of those state parks with lots of history (including the Pueblo ruins) that you can spend time exploring while there. You can also enjoy the water (paddle boat rentals), fish along the shoreline or do some hiking around the park. Our campsite was a pullthrough with water and electric. For large rigs, go for the pullthru sites. Very nice, spacious and shaded. We didn't use facilities so can't speak to that, but overall the park seemed well kept. Kansas does require vehicle passes, $5 per day or $30 yearly. Well worth it. If I remember right, we had good Verizon but needed a little boost for hotspotting.

For Circle Drive - Scott State Park: We have been traveling for two months, and this is the nicest place we have stayed in. It has it all - nice wide trailer/ rv spots, land to hike, a quiet lake with accessible docks, fascinating historical sites in the park and close by, wildlife, and helpful staff. A top notch experience go us.
