For Fort Worden - Upper Forest: New restrooms and showers gleam! Camp hosts friendly and helpful. Our fourth time here. Love it!

For Fort Worden - Upper Forest: We loved this campground. Our level, gravel site backed up on deep woods. Quiet at night except for bands of noisy coyotes. Restrooms were private, clean and excellent. Historic Fort Worden, a stroll away, is great for military and history buffs. Historic Port Townsend close by and you’re about 90 minutes from Hurricane Ridge. Only bummer: No WIFI and cell signal was weak.

For Fort Worden - Upper Forest: Really nice campground and good park to explore. The last reviewer was in 71. We are in 70. 70 is better. Quiet campground. Cell service pretty poor. Bathrooms are new and very nice. Showers cost a dollar. Kind of confusing with the tokens. 2 tokens for a dollar. Electric and water. Would come again. Explore the park more next time. 90 min drive to Hurricane Visitor Center Olympic NP.

For Fort Worden - Upper Forest: Very nice campground and interesting area. Site 71, hookups. However, it was a very windy night, branches were crashing down at our site, so we moved to the "emergency" site at the beach campground. Bathrooms at the forest campground were being remodeled while we were there; probably very nice now! Conference center grounds with museums, cafe, pub, etc. Lovely beach and WWI batteries to explore. For Fort Worden - Upper Forest: This place has a lot of potential, since it’s half private there are some nice things that are in walking distance from the campground like restaurants, beer tavern and the old Fort. The upper camping area leaves you wanting more though. I was there in July so I was only able to stay one night. The area is very nice and I wanted to stay an extra day but it was all booked up so I moved on.

For Fort Worden - Upper Forest: Forest campground is actually beautiful. Partial hookups with dump station nearby. Very crowded campground in a very crowded and busy state park. Not my cup of tea, but it must appeal to millions of others.
