For Caja del Rio Plateau: There are bathrooms near the entrance to this area. It is otherwise very dry and dusty, no potable water or dumps here. It’s a huge area with many, many spots. There appeared to be people living here, lots of people sleeping on their cars and rv camps that looked semi permanent. The further back and in that you go the more privacy and space you’ll get. On the weekend there were a lot of locals (assumed) that came to the area to party, drive fast and shoot guns. There were many areas with a lot of shell casings and broken glass around. The road was dry but rutted out quite a bit in spots from past rain, making some places harder to get in and out of depending on your rig. We didn’t love this spot but it is close to town if you’re trying to be near the city.
