For Jawbone Canyon Area: Boondocked here between Bay Area and Death Valley. You can stay bear the visitors center (clean pit toilet) or further in. We stayed a couple miles in on a side pull through style primitive site. Very little traffic. Some leveling is required but didn’t hear noise at night. Night security does patrol the canyon.

For Jawbone Canyon Area: Paved road! With plenty of sights along both sides. Only one person here Late February, nice visitors center at the foot of the road at 14. Well worth a side track from 58

For Jawbone Canyon Area: We passed through during the week in early November. Paved road to some easy camping. Looks like the OHV guys use the area on weekends since there are tire tracks on everything. Good overnight stop.
