For Jal Lake City Park: Echo previous comments. Very good place for free! Yes, grass area in spring is dry with stickers but nice concrete walkways. Pit toilets and is noisy due to it being close to highway

For Jal Lake City Park: Nice park for free for 3 days - water and electric for free - park could be cleaned around lake but otherwise nice place to stay - 7/10 mile paved walkway around lake

For Jal Lake City Park: This place would be good if you are in a closed rv and sound isnt an issue. First of all the grass is filled with these sticker like things that hurt. Each time we walked around we got poked. Not fun with kids. The site is clean and nice to be at. The highway is near so you hear traffic all night long as well as a train track that had 5 trains passby in one night. There are basketball courts next to the sites, which had loud car sterio music and a handful of teens/young adults playing with foul language.

For Jal Lake City Park: Fantastic spot! Small, duck filled lake, trout fishing with license. Very friendly caretaker, walking trail. Hookups, water and covered tables. Free for 3 days!
