For Patterson Pass - BLM: This campground is a hidden gem and it’s free! It is 1 mile west of US93 on a smooth gravel road. Close enough to the highway to be convenient but far enough to experience quiet solitude. This campground can handle any size rig with plenty of room to maneuver. New and well maintained. Juniper trees separate the sites. All sites have fire rings and bbq grills. Most sights have a covered picnic table. Pit toilets are fairly new and spotlessly clean. Primitive camping: No water, sewer, electric or dump. We stayed in Sept 2018 and had the campground to ourselves. Perfect overnight stop 2.5 hours north of Vegas.

For Patterson Pass - BLM: This was a super nice campground. Each campsite had a grill, a picnic table and a fire ring. Clean toilets were also available. There's no water available, so be sure to bring some with you. And no sewer dump either, but it was a quiet and beautiful campsite, with magnificent mountain views!
