Frank

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: Had to drive out there to use a pay phone to call a manager who told me they weren’t accepting campers even though it was about half full of campers. Can’t imagine a worse taste in my mouth. Just drive by that ash tray and go to Dukes in Hanksville.

JamuJoe

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: A simple gravel lot with closely spaced sites. Electric only. One water spigot beside the office building. Dump station near the entrance (no water there). Right beside the highway.

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: We stayed 4 nights here in our 37’ TT in early October 2021. The owners were very responsive, from making the reservation to setting up camp. Large, level gravel site. Love the small size of the campground. There was an organized group that had most of the sites occupied but they were extremely friendly and organized. No issue with noise, even though you are close to a road. Night time star gazing was very good as was satellite reception. Would definitely stay here again.

Richard

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: Stayed two nights with our 35' motorhome. Very pleasant campground with about 10 sites. There are some 50 amp sites and the others are 30 amp. You get your good tasting water for your tank at the spigot next to the building. None at the sites. WiFi was working well but not high speed. Good for most internet and smart phone use. We were able to get and make calls with the iPhone WiFi calling. The owner is very helpful with sightseeing advice and in the campground. Best to know that the campground is at MM 93.5 on SR24, or you could miss it. We didn't do any back-country (gravel/dirt roads)exploring, but it is a great base-camp for that. 5 stars for where it is!

Rob

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: We stayed 3 nights in November. I can’t say enough good things about this campground. The facilities were clean, the WIFI was strong. Forrest took great care of us during our stay and is a wealth of knowledge about the Capitol Reef area. Highly recommend!

Tim

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: Ditto the prior post....Quiet, GREAT owners. Has trees, needed no AC as it was shady on our site. Look forward to staying here again!

Jim

For Sleepy Hollow Campground: An oasis in the middle of nowhere. Forest the owner was exceptional. Stayed 2 nights in September. Electric only but has water and a dump available. A little road noise but did not bother us. Quiet at night. We would stay again if in the aria. Yes it is cash only. WiFi is by DSL so not the fastest but it works.
