For A Stones Throw RV Park: Just ok for one night! Arrived on a Sunday. Office was closed. Thankfully, a site# was on our confirmation email.Your basically “on your own”. Wifi password posted on the door. Just an overall gloomy, run down looking place. Several full timers. Very confusing where to stop when you get there because every motorhome that arrived after us looked confused too. Everyone including us, bugged out first thing in AM. Will not stop again.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: A good convenient park. Park has some level spots but not the best generic spots for a 42 foot class A. I did disconnect the Toad before parking. If I was in a Fifth wheel maybe worthy of 5 stars

For A Stones Throw RV Park: This is the (nearly) perfect overnight campground. The people who own it are responsive, caring, and keep this campground clean and taken care of. It is right off of I-10 and has plenty of room for rigs and setups of all size. There are some shades sites. All of the infrastructure seems new and taken care of (shore power connection, sewer and water connections). The only thing keeping me from saying perfect is, for our situation, we were hoping to take some showers (their are six of us traveling - larger family). Just from a timing standpoint we needed a shower after having traveled for a few days. We used our RV to take care of things, so no big deal. Wonderful place to overnight and I highly recommend.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: We have stayed at A Stone's Throw many times when travelling north from Winter Haven and it always is just enough for an overnight stay. Simple reservations, pull thru sites, easy in and out from I-10. The only issue we found this time was no one staffing the office even at 2PM and there was no paper towels or toilet paper for the rest room.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: Great little spot for an overnight stay just off the interstate. Very nice friendly voice took my reservation an hour out. We’re in a 42’ class A with a tow. Was given a pull thru site that ran a little downhill but it worked. Was a tight turn leaving with vehicles in the way so we just backed up the way we came in and hooked up afterward. Nice area for walking dogs. Never heard highway noise. Only fast food close by so we drove 8 miles to nice place called Flatwoods Cafe in Lamont. Will repeat this experience again.

For A Stones Throw RV Park: After a 5 day return trip drive,Thousand Oaks ,Ca to home - Stuart,Fl we elected to stop for the day at A Stones Throw Campground for nite prior to making final 6 hr drive home. We met owner, ? Terri , who most cordially set us up with a pull thru site at last minute for the nite. Campground has all basics and easy on/off location . We travel between Stuart,Fl and Los Angeles ,coast to coast twice a yr in a 37’ DYNAMAX Gran Sport. SS
