For Laurel Lake Camping Resort: Will not go back. When we first got there up front was well managed and very nice. We had a spot in the back. OMG what a difference. Lots needed mowed and trimming, They said they had a lady that did security back here, well we NEVER SAW ANYONE. They have signs that say 5mph not back here. Kids were racing golf carts, people were flying in their cars if you have rules then enforce them. Trash pick up was between 9-11 am at 3 pm I took mine to the dumpster myself. Worker’s on golf cart’s and tractor drove by plenty of time’s but never picked it up. Kid’s running around in store up front. From what I can tell once you cross the bridge anything goes, and they don’t care what goes on back there or what it looks like. Really sad cause there are some full time people back here and a really nice camper with a deck and fenced in yard and they have to put up with stuff like this.

For Laurel Lake Camping Resort: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Laurel Lake Camping Resort. Getting to the campground was no problem even though it is a long way from the interstate. The town of Corbin is large with lots of amenities. The roads in the campground are gravel and in good condition. The trees seem to all be trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. There is a small camp store. There is a large parking area on the side of the office. No escort to our site. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 15, a back in site with a gravel slab, and picnic table. The site had a nice view of the woods. The campground has both sunny and shady sites. Our site was not level. The site was dry. There are several seasonal folks and work campers located in the campground. The bathhouse was drab & old looking. There is a laundry room that was OK. No pool but they have a small pond. There is no rec room. No workout fitness room. There is a restaurant / deli on site but not always was it open. The grounds look like they need more grass and plants. They advertise they have cable tv but they do not. Over the air antenna did not work. Wifi is work sometimes, but not during busy times. Here is the bad. This was the first campground that allowed dogs to run free or be tied up to trees all the time. Many sites not level. If the site was level, the ground around it was not level. Too much dirt everywhere. Erosion is a problem and dirt splashes up on the camper when it rains. Most of the pull thru sites are too close to each other. Pond had too much algae for me to ever think about swimming. No Fitness room. I would not come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For Laurel Lake Camping Resort: ZERO STARS SAVE YOUR MONEY RUN FROM THIS PLACE !! I’m the daughter this post from my dad talks about ! Friends I want to ask you do not use or refer family and friends to Laurel Lake Camping Resort in Corbin. Share my story as you feel appropriate. We booked a reservation before their system upgrade per the management we just spoke to. We booked two camp sites for July. At the time of booking my daughter was told she could cancel outside 30 days. I never received an email confirmation and we called back asking for confirmation email. They sent an email with Zero information included. There is a PDF attached which has no information in it. Now that we did not secure a camper for our dates and went to cancel, they referenced a cancellation policy we never saw nor was made aware if through their email process when we made the phone booking. I replied to the email multiple times. My daughter talked to them multiple times, My wife talked to them and I also did trying to find out details of the site, which I never received, only verbally over the phone. They behaved as a small operation, which is fine when you conduct yourself with integrity and provide good customer service. Neither of which they did. Now that we cancelled they informed us they will keep 100% of the deposit and we are more than 60 days before our reservation. Again, The management on the phone admitted their system has been upgraded 5 times by that we just talked to and made the comment of people don't receive or they do not receive emails all the time. Well, I received theirs with no info, so seems like they have practiced their blame of technology on others besides me. While I overpaid for a lesson learned I ask you to avoid them. My large family will for sure. If they miss out only only a couple of bookings because of my experience during their slow season then karma has worked. Stay away from Laurel Lake Camping Resort!!!

For Laurel Lake Camping Resort: I agree with the previous review, we stayed in the newer area, site 57, a premium pull through, our neighbors hookups were 3 feet away from our RV. Way too close to be considered “premium”. The WiFi was one of the best ones we have encountered so far, cable TV was superb, crystal clear and digital on channels 100 and above. Roads are all gravel, really dusty when dry, sloppy muddy when wet, had to rinse off the side and jacks of our camper. Not a lot to do in the area and tooo close to Pigeon Forge to justify staying here instead. We made the mistake of parking under an Oak Tree in the fall, acorns dropping sounded like rocks being thrown at us.

Melody

For Laurel Lake Camping Resort: This is a very long campground. They rent golf carts to travel the spread out place. All hookups worked fine. The WiFi was good. There are tons of activities for the kids and they were preparing for a spooky haunted walk through the forest. The staff was friendly. The sites on the newest part are a little too close. Satellite signal worked fine. They have cable tv.
