Don Gagnon

For Meadowlark RV Park: Don't believe the web sites pictures (and drone video) showing nice campsites with grass. That section of the campground is for long term stays only. People just needing a few days, or really anything less than a month, get one of 6 "new" sites just outside the main entrance, and we were in the last one, #115. On the drivers side you get about 4 feet for your utilities. On the door side, you get maybe 6 or 7 feet, which starts out as gravel from the pad, then slopes down hill into dirt with piles of rocks, then something that is some sort of a sparse (yellow/dormant) plant, but not really blades of any kind, and full of round soft pickers that really get into a dogs fur. We have 3 Golden retrievers, and we probably pulled 60 or 70 of them from the three dogs after 10 minutes outside. And I forgot to mention that the side of your RV is about 25-30 feet from an interstate on/off ramp, with 24 hour constant traffic. And let's not forget the sewer system vent pipe within 40 feet that wafts delightful smells past your RV all day. A very miserable experience for $55/day. And it's not like I walked in off the street and this is what I got. I reserved this almost 3 months in advance. The only good thing I can say is the hookups worked fine.

Havasusmith

For Meadowlark RV Park: Stayed five nights and enjoyed it. The manager, Dennis, was very helpful especially when I arrived with a dead battery in our tow car. The cleanest laundry facility I’ve ever used in a campground. Close to the freeway but the noise was not bothersome. New owners are working very hard to upgrade this park. Cute little town with a great bakery, too.

USA Vet

For Meadowlark RV Park: No facilities for disabled people or Veterans. No wheelchair access to showers or toilets Only yards away from busy I-5, so awakened to car exhaust fumes Even with discount , I feel it’s overpriced at $40+ per night (and that’s with Good Sam, AAA, or Veteran’s discount.

SaTomaha

For Meadowlark RV Park: Very nice park. Clean, level gravel pads. Open fires dependent on fire risk in the area. Good process for late arrivals. Very nice office staff. I called ahead & they held a site for me. Clean bathroom & shower. Only downfall is you had to get a key for the bathrooms from a lockbox by the office door, then put it back, but there was only one key, so if someone had it you were kind of SOL. Laundry only open during office hours, which closed by 5 or 6, FYI.
