For Berry Creek Rancheria RV Park: We stayed at Berry Creek Rancheria RV Park 08/21/21 to 08/28/21 in our 28’ TT at FHU site 46, which was called a “Party Site†because it had a nice patio with patio furniture and an umbrella, Gas BBQ and a gas fire pit. We had never been to the area and figured we would explore it for a week.
The RV park is adjacent to the Gold Country Casino and has a shuttle that you can call and it will take you there.
The WiFi is weak (at least at site 46), but it works. AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile all work fine at this park. The cable connection has some premium channels and the hookups are conveniently located at each site. The pool, hot tub and community fire pit are all very nice! The showers and bathrooms are spotless. We did not use the Laundry Room, but all the machines look new and the area was immaculate.
There is a nice pet area, although it could use some shade. There is 24 hour security that does passing checks and the security officers are very nice and respectful.
It appears that about half of the sites are currently seasonals in the park, they appear to be related to work crews in the area. Almost all the seasonals are families and everyone we have met have been super nice. Most of their rigs are newer Class A’s or newer large 5th wheels. So definitely not a negative.
One upgrade I’d recommend would be a natural barrier of tall bushes or trees to block some of the lights coming from the gas station at the Maidu Mart near the entrance to Berry Creek Rancheria RV Park.
Berry Creek Rancheria RV Park gave us a bunch of coupons for the Gold Country Casino and restaurants upon check-in. However, Gold Country Casino currently does not have their marquee Safire Restaurant open. The Agave Cantina & Grill is only open from Thursday-Sunday and it doesn’t get great reviews anyways. The Acorn Cafe is only open until 3pm everyday and that just leaves the Espresso Bar open for quick bites because everything else is closed or not conveniently open. So most of the coupons are useless.
We actually have been driving 10 minutes to Feather Falls Casino and enjoying their restaurants, which are open and very good. Currently, Feather Falls Mini Mart fuel prices are also about 11¢ per gallon cheaper than Maidu Mart’s.
I would stay at Berry Creek Rancheria RV Park again, due to how nice their sites are.
