For Lighthouse Landing RV Park and Cabins: Lighthouse Landing RV park, South Hutchenson Kansas. We stayed for a week in Mid August space #10. Reservations and space assignment was all handled online at the time I made the reservation. The park is pretty open, not much shade but there is almost always a breeze in Kansas. Friday was hot! 100+ feels like temp and we did manage to trip the 50 amp breaker one time (our fault). Saturday turned off cool with an 80 degree high. Water, electric and sewer at each site, the pads are sort of asphalt and gravel, fairly level right and left and a little slope front to back. Access is easy just off of highway 50 and the interior roads are easy to navigate. Sites are spacious with a fire ring and table. There is a laundry, 2 washers and 2 dryers, $1.50 a load. Restrooms/Showers double as storm shelters. The RV park staff is invisible, we did not see a ”person” in charge all week but there were absolutely no problems either. Hutchenson is built over a large salt layer and there are several salt mines in town. The salt mine museum and tour is worth the price of admission. Take your time and see all that you can. The Carey Park Golf course is pretty nice also. If you play there is a challenge and it is only a couple of miles from the RV park. The Jackson Meat Market in Hutchenson has a really good selection and a super friendly and helpful staff. Drive around town and look at the buildings, downtown has some good ones, nothing big, but nice.

Mimi

For Lighthouse Landing RV Park and Cabins: Great rates! Clean facilities, quiet area, friendly staff, and easy to unhook/set up of the trailer. Close to shopping & museums. The only thing I can even suggest is to have more trees. However they have small trees already and they just need time to grow. If we ever are out this area again and need a spot to stay we will again
