Mikee

For River Falls at the Gorge Campground: The creek, grassy field, swimming pool all nice. Sites Ate horrible: close together, muddy even when dry. We had a tree overhead that dropped rotten fruit all over the site and on our motor home. There are overhead clearance issues also. This is not the place for any motor home. We even asked about clearance issues before we went down and we’re told there where none. You can not see the park from the entry and registration office. Once you commit the narrow one way into the gorge, your screwed. Best to just stay out.

wil

For River Falls at the Gorge Campground: Extremely rude staff. They cancelled our reservation in the River Mist one hour prior to our 8 night stay. They did not offer any compensation nor were they willing to help us search for a place to stay for the night. Don't stay here!

Margarita

For River Falls at the Gorge Campground: At checkin was greeted with not so friendly staff. Very snippy when I asked a question. Like the parking sign says, Queen B!! I agree! Sites are extremely close together (when slide out is pulled out it was touching one line of the site. On the other side the awning was in the other site, in a travel trailer). Your neighbors septic and water is just outside your door. Bathhouses are run down, you can see where they tried to do improvements. No grills, no cable, got 2 channels from antenna. So No football or races:( A plus side is you camp on a beautiful creek.

Sherry

For River Falls at the Gorge Campground: We inadvertently booked this park, when we thought we were booking the one we had stayed at before, which turns out to have been the state park. This place is a total fail. It is a muddy mess; our site looks right into someone’s tent. 2 pound take our advice and stay at the state park, which is beautiful!

Nina

For River Falls at the Gorge Campground: This campground sits on a beautiful spot on the Tallulah River. It needs some TLC. The sites are pretty much dirt which turns to mud during rainy periods. The sites in the area where we stayed were super close as in your neighbors sewer and water connections were right outside your door. There is no cable TV and we could not pick up any local over the air channels. The clubhouse was nice with sitting areas, 2 TVs and a pool table. The bathhouse was updated and very clean. The setting along the river is beautiful. We camped in a 5th wheel.
