For Boothbay Craft Brewery, Tavern & RV: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at Boothbay Brewery. Let me start my review by saying the brewery is great. The beer is good and so is the food, but this review is on the campground. Getting to the campground was no problem. The roads in the campground are paved and gravel, and are fine. The trees seem to all be trimmed. There is no campground office. When we arrived, we were shown where escorted to our site because the owner was out in the golf cart. No problem finding our site. They have no camp store. No check in area. The road signage to our site was poor, thank goodness they were out to show us to our site. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 9, a backin site with a picnic table and fire pit. There are no good views from any site in this campground. The campground has most sites with no tree coverage. Our site was not level. The site was dry. The site was gravel. No seasonal folk or long term. There is a bathhouse but it was locked so I did not see it. Laundry was descent. There is no pool. There is no game room. There is no workout fitness room. There is a restaurant on site. The grounds are plain and only sites 1 - 5 have a vegetation divide between sites. There is no cable tv. The Wifi would go in and out. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Here is the bad. No cable, grounds are plain, site 9 had an unsightly storage yard. Sites 7-9 lookout at the propane tank and dump station. In my opinion there are no good sites, but if I had to pick on it would be 5. I would probably not come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well

For Boothbay Craft Brewery, Tavern & RV: Campsites are ok but the big plus is the brewery and food. The bath house is done and nice. The beer was fantastic, and not just because it was so close. It Is really great beer. I am taking several cases home to Florida. The food was good too. The whole vibe of the place was great. Unfortunately, the staff at the brewery seemed a bit burned out. Their attitude took a little off of everything for me. I will still stay again if in the area and still recommend the place. I also second the rec for the botanical gardens.

For Boothbay Craft Brewery, Tavern & RV: This place is spectacular! Level site, full hook up, nice people and a brewery and pizza place 50 feet away. Doesn’t get much better. Take in the Botanical garden while you’re here. Super place.

KFISCH

For Boothbay Craft Brewery, Tavern & RV: This is a Brewery with camping. Stayed 2 nights. Had a great time and great beer. We were there for Friday Night Brisket which was awesome and Saturday we had wood fired pizza also awesome. Both nights we enjoyed really great beer. Staff is great and very friendly. There isn’t a bath house/ restrooms yet because of construction delays due to Covid. All and all we enjoyed our stay.

John

For Boothbay Craft Brewery, Tavern & RV: First and foremost this is a brewery. They also make great wood-fired pizza and have cabins and 5 RV spots plus Harvest Host spots. They clearly publish their hours. They made it clear to us they do not extend outside those hours. If they are not here you pull in to an open spot and connect (assuming you have a reservation not open season). We got here just before lunch middle June on a cold day. Had a great greeting in a nice wood fire heated location. Hooked up quickly and had a great pizza with some exceptional brews. Then took a brewery tour. Lori cooks the pizza on her great wood-fired brick pizza kiln. The whole staff was great as we went through the tour. If you show up on a Sunday, or any other time outside hours, hook up and enjoy this jewel later. If you want an RV resort there are lots in the area. Go there, pay more, and enjoy the dirty pool and bathrooms. If you want to walk to great pizza and craft brews come here. 2 miles to the Harbor.

I forgot to add. You can not make the right turn into the brewery with any sizable rig. Go on down to the circle and come back. Or you can turn off route 27 on Adams pond road about a mile before the brewery. Nice level full hookups.

Sara

For Boothbay Craft Brewery, Tavern & RV: Went to camp here at their resort and made a reservation online. Got a confirmation email and headed all that way from Massachusetts. Come to find no one there, so we called the given number and no answer on the first call, the second call heard someone laugh and say hang up, left a voicemail on the third, and ignored on the fourth. Mind you all these calls were within the three hours that we waited. We also sent an email as well as sent a Facebook message. Nothing. As we were about to leave, what I can presume to be the owners, pulled up and put groceries inside while parking right next to us. Not a single word was said to us so we decided to hook our car back up and leave. During this three hours we spent the time looking for a new place to stay since we have to meet up with family very shortly. Thank you booth bay craft brewery for your complete lack of service of any kind.

For Boothbay Craft Brewery, Tavern & RV: Continued. We just found Knickerbocker Park which is 1.5 miles away. Dog friendly park with kayak and boat launch. Otis swam and ran off leash. One happy pup...
